I love to draw people, nature and communities from my imagination and from what I see around me everyday. I enjoy using many different colors because a teacher at Rhode Island School of Design once taught me, "there are no ugly colors." My work conveys a sense of spirit that lives within each of us. Thank you for taking the time to look at some of my artwork.
I graduated in 1993 from Rhode Island School of Design with a B.F.A. in Illustration. Afterward, I
worked for almost ten years as an artist and writer for American Greetings, a large greeting card company located in Cleveland, Ohio. I also have participated in many art and craft shows, gallery exhibitions, public art projects, murals and I have illustrated for newspapers such as Cleveland's "The Plain Dealer" and "Free Times" as well as "Utne Reader". I have illustrated self-published books and I am looking forward to illustrating children's books one day. I love to make art for people by request. Please email me with any suggestions, questions or inquiries you may have.
